GIRONA
Girona is a fantastic city of contrasts: Roman walls, Gothic cathedrals, and colorful houses lining the river. Its old quarter is full of history, from Roman baths to medieval Jewish streets.
Not many cities can say that Game of Thrones was shot there, Girona is one of them.
At the same time, Girona is lively and modern, with excellent restaurants, tapas bars, and shopping streets that make it a destination where culture and gastronomy go hand in hand.
The trip to Girona takes around 7 hours starting with the pick up at your hotel.
Although the part of the city in which we are most interested is not big, it does have many routes, loops and details worth seeing and finding, this must be done at an easy pase.
Apart from the historical sites, Girona also has a vibrant grastronomic and comercial offer which can also be explored to take a break.
In a more reduced version of this tour, Girona can also be combined with Tossa de Mar, Costa Brava or other medieval villages.
